Make fun ball pulling games with waste
There are many interesting toys on the market, such as this ball pulling game. But in fact, we can use the waste from home to make toys with our children. This not only enhances the parent-child relationship, but also improves children's creativity and hands-on ability. Through this activity, children can not only enjoy the fun of playing, but also learn to cherish resources and the importance of teamwork. I hope everyone can enjoy this DIY process!

Materials need:
Before we start, we need to prepare the following materials:
- A carton (preferably larger than A4)
- Double-sided tape (preferably sponge double-sided tape)
- Cotton rope
- Toilet paper rolls/toilet paper drums
- Pattern paper (can be downloaded for free in the following link):
- 4 large plastic beads
- Adhesive paper
- One large round bead (need to be placed in the toilet paper tube, the size must be appropriate)
Tools required
During this DIY process, the following tools will come in handy:
Utility knife or pointed scissor
Make sure to be safe when using the tools, especially when doing them with children.
Steps
Let’s take a look at the steps to make this Pull ball game:
Prepare the carton: Cut one side of the carton to form a lid so that the beads can move on it. You can also use the A4 carton lid directly.
Install double-sided adhesive: Apply double-sided adhesive into the paper box. This allows us to fix the pattern paper.
Decoration: paste patterned paper to decorate the paper box to make it more eye-catching.
Cut holes in the paper box: Use a utility knife to cut the round holes according to the circular position on the pattern paper, or where you like.
Cut toilet paper tube: Cut out toilet paper rolls or toilet paper tubes about 1 inch long. Use pointed scissors or utility knife to drill small holes on 4 sides of the paper tube and tie a cotton rope.
Tie the cotton rope: Use pointed scissors or utility knife to drill a small hole in the four corners of the paper box, and pass the rope head that has been tied to the cotton rope tube through the small holes in the four corners of the paper box, so that children can pull it easily.
Add beads: Tie the small plastic beads to the end of the cotton rope that has passed through the four corners of the carton to prevent the cotton rope from being pulled away from the carton. Put the large round beads in the toilet paper tube, so that you can use a cotton rope to pull the toilet paper tube and pull the large round beads from the starting point to the end point. Anyone accidentally dropped the big round bead into the round hole in the paper box and lost the game!
Enhance parent-child relationship
Making these toys not only inspires creativity, but also promotes communication with children. Through this simple collaboration, you and your children will learn more about the functioning of objects and gravity.
Little Tips
During the production process, you might as well give your children some freedom to let them use their ideas. This may make them come up with different designs or playbacks, making the production process more interesting.
